Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine 200 ml milk, 2 tbsp sugar, and 8 g dry yeast. Mix well and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Add 2 eggs, 120 g butter, a pinch of vanilla, and 1 tbsp salt. Mix thoroughly. Gradually add 450 g flour while mixing until a soft dough forms. Adjust with small amounts of flour as needed. Knead the dough gently with your hands. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for 50 minutes.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine 120 g sugar, vanilla, and 50 g butter. Mix until smooth.

  3. Transfer the soft dough to a 24-26 cm baking dish. Flatten the dough with your hands. Poke holes evenly across the dough using a fork or skewer. Spread the prepared sugar, vanilla, and butter mixture evenly over the dough.

  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Bake the dough for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and pour 150 ml cream (20%) over the baked dough. Return it to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
