  • Pepper: 1/6 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Corn starch: 5 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Peel and cut 600 grams of sweet potatoes into thick pieces. Place in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, pierce a few holes with a knife, and bake in the oven for 4 minutes.

  2. Allow the sweet potatoes to cool. Then, grate and cut them into small pieces.

  3. Add 1/6 teaspoon of pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder to the sweet potatoes. Mix well, then add 5 tablespoons of corn starch and stir until combined.

  4. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to the mixture, stirring until smooth.

  5. Shape the mixture into pieces about 2-5 cm long by pressing with your hands. Deep-fry in oil for 8 minutes until golden and crispy.
