Directions

  1. Peel 350g of sweet potatoes and cut them into small chunks. Microwave for 5 minutes, then boil until soft.

  2. Mash the cooked sweet potatoes in a bowl. Add sugar (1 tsp), cornstarch (2 tbsp), all-purpose flour (2 tbsp), water (2 tbsp), and cooking oil (1 tbsp). Mix thoroughly to form a dough.

  3. Shape the dough into small fist-sized balls. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Fry the balls on medium heat for 8–9 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. Drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve warm and enjoy!
