Peel the sweet potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and cut into smaller pieces if needed. Add 2 tbsp water to a microwave-safe bowl, cover, and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes or until soft.

Mash the cooked sweet potatoes until smooth. Add salt, honey (or sugar), 50 ml water, and potato starch. Mix thoroughly to form a dough. Divide the dough into small portions.

Place a piece of cheese in the center of each portion, then roll into a ball. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top of the balls.

Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the balls until golden brown, turning them occasionally for even cooking.
