Directions
-
Peel the leaves off the Napa cabbage, wash them thoroughly, and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the cabbage leaves for 6 minutes until softened. Arrange the cooked cabbage leaves on a flat surface or a plate for filling.
-
Finely chop the green onions and onion. Place the tofu in a cloth bag and squeeze out the excess water. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, finely chopped green onions, chopped onion, and drained tofu. Add the soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Mix well until the filling is evenly combined.
-
Take one softened Napa cabbage leaf and spoon a portion of the filling onto the base of the leaf. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly to encase the filling. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.
-
Heat a little cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Place the stuffed cabbage rolls seam-side down in the pan. Cook for about 8 minutes, turning the rolls occasionally to ensure even browning. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Remove the lid, turn the rolls over one last time, and cook until golden and fully cooked.
