Directions
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, salt, 40 g of sugar, butter, flour, and baking powder. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
-
Transfer the dough to a 20 cm cake pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and let it cool.
-
In a small bowl, mix gelatin (or agar-agar) with water. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to bloom.
-
In a large bowl, combine the bloomed gelatin with sour cream (or yogurt), 100 g of sugar, vanilla sugar, and strawberries. Mix well until smooth.
-
Pour the strawberry mixture over the cooled cake base. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until the filling sets.
-
Once set, carefully remove from the pan, slice, and serve.
