  • Sugar: 40 g (for the base)
  • Butter: 50 g
  • Flour: 110 g
  • Baking Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Sour Cream (or Yogurt): 400 g
  • Sugar: 100 g (for the filling)
  • Vanilla Sugar: 1 teaspoon
  • Gelatin (or Agar-Agar): 10 g
  • Water: 70 ml
  • Strawberries: 300 g

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, salt, 40 g of sugar, butter, flour, and baking powder. Mix until a smooth dough forms.

  2. Transfer the dough to a 20 cm cake pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and let it cool.

  3. In a small bowl, mix gelatin (or agar-agar) with water. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to bloom.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the bloomed gelatin with sour cream (or yogurt), 100 g of sugar, vanilla sugar, and strawberries. Mix well until smooth.

  5. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cooled cake base. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until the filling sets.

  6. Once set, carefully remove from the pan, slice, and serve.
