Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 180 g milk, 38 g sugar, 6 g salt, 1 egg, 6 g instant dry yeast, and 42 g melted butter. Add 350 g bread flour and mix thoroughly for about 15 minutes until the dough is smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.

  2. After 15 minutes, knead the dough for another 10 minutes. Cover and let it rest in a warm place until it doubles in size.

  3. Once risen, divide the dough into several portions. Shape each portion into a small round ball, place them on a tray, and cover with plastic wrap. Let rest for 15 minutes.

  4. After 15 minutes, keep the balls covered and let them ferment for another hour, or until doubled in size.

  5. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Arrange the dough balls on a baking tray, brush them with milk, and bake for 22 minutes until golden brown.
