Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (bagel, campanula, or any preferred type)
- 30 g (3 tbsp) melted unsalted butter
- Smoked salmon
- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 small tomato, sliced (not too thick)
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp capers
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 20 g (2 tbsp) olive oil
- Crushed red pepper (optional)
- Creamy Herb Spread
- 50 g (2 tbsp) cream cheese
- 16 g (2 tbsp) chopped green onions or dill
- 5 g (0.5 tsp) lemon juice
- 16 g (1 tbsp) mayonnaise
- 3 g (1 tsp) sugar
- Black pepper, to taste

Directions
1. Step
Thinly slice the cucumber, tomato, and onion. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped green onions (or dill), lemon juice, mayonnaise, sugar, and black pepper until well combined. This will be your sandwich spread.

Spread melted butter on both sides of the bread slices. Heat a pan over medium heat and toast the bread until golden brown on both sides.

Spread a generous layer of the creamy herb spread on one slice of toasted bread. Layer the cucumber slices, followed by tomato slices. Season lightly with salt and black pepper. Add the smoked salmon and top with sliced onion. Sprinkle with black pepper and capers.
