  • Vanilla Sugar: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk: 200 ml (1 cup)
  • Vegetable Oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Flour: 260 g (2 cups)
  • Baking Powder: 10 g (1 teaspoon)
  • Dried Fruits (optional): 100 g

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine: 1 egg, A pinch of salt, 160 g (1 cup) sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar, 200 ml (1 cup) milk, 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, 260 g (2 cups) flour, 10 g (1 teaspoon) baking powder ,100 g dried fruits (optional). Mix the ingredients thoroughly until you have a smooth batter.

  2. Pour the batter into an 18 cm (7-inch) baking container. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  3. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle sugar on top while still warm. Let it cool before serving.
