Directions
-
In a bowl, combine water, sugar, and yeast. Add the flour and mix until a smooth dough forms. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour to rise.
-
In another bowl, prepare the filling by mixing ground meat, salt, soy sauce, black pepper powder, minced ginger, chopped onion, and cooking oil. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
-
After the dough has risen, divide it into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let them rest for 10 minutes.
-
Flatten each dough ball slightly with your hands. Place a spoonful of the prepared meat filling in the center, then gather the edges of the dough to enclose the filling. Press gently with a rolling pin to flatten slightly. Arrange the filled dough on a baking tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
-
Preheat your oven to 230°C. Bake the prepared buns for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly before serving.
