Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine water, sugar, and yeast. Add the flour and mix until a smooth dough forms. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour to rise.

  2. In another bowl, prepare the filling by mixing ground meat, salt, soy sauce, black pepper powder, minced ginger, chopped onion, and cooking oil. Mix thoroughly and set aside.

  3. After the dough has risen, divide it into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let them rest for 10 minutes.

  4. Flatten each dough ball slightly with your hands. Place a spoonful of the prepared meat filling in the center, then gather the edges of the dough to enclose the filling. Press gently with a rolling pin to flatten slightly. Arrange the filled dough on a baking tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  5. Preheat your oven to 230°C. Bake the prepared buns for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly before serving.
