Directions

1. Step

In a bowl, combine 300 g all-purpose flour or wheat flour, 12 g sugar, and 2 g salt. Mix with a spatula. Add 80 ml cooking oil and 120 ml water, then knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Cover with a lid and let it rest for 5 minutes. Knead the dough again briefly, then cover and set aside.

2. Step

In another bowl, mix 150 g all-purpose flour or wheat flour with 90 g unsalted butter using your hands until well combined.

3. Step

Over low heat, cook 475 g sweet red beans and 16 g cornstarch until thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool.

4. Step

Divide the Flour 1 dough into two parts one small and one large. Roll out the larger piece with a rolling pin, then place the smaller piece in the center. Fold the dough and roll it out again. Repeat this process as needed (refer to the video for guidance). Divide the dough into 16 portions.

5. Step

Take one portion of the dough and flatten it with your hands. Place some sweet red bean filling in the center, then wrap and seal the dough around it. Arrange the filled dough portions on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25 minutes.  Remove from the oven and serve warm.
