  • Eggs - 3
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Vegetable Oil - 70 ml
  • Butter - 100 g
  • Milk - 100 ml
  • Baking Powder - 10 g
  • Vanilla Extract - a pinch
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Raisins - 100 g

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Gradually add the vegetable oil, milk, and melted butter, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the baking powder and sifted flour (start with 300 g). Mix until the batter is smooth. If needed, add a little more flour to reach the desired consistency. Gently fold in the raisins.

  2. Line a cake tin with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared tin. Bake and Finish

  3. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Bake the cake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top before serving.
