  • Onion: 40 grams
  • Red pepper: 25 grams
  • Green onion: 20 grams
  • Black pepper: 1/6 tsp
  • Garlic powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Chili powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Salt: 1/4 tsp
  • Oats: 60 grams
  • Corn starch: 3 tbsp
  • Egg: 1
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Directions

  1. Peel and cut 400 grams of potatoes into chunks. Boil them in water for 15 minutes or until soft.

  2. Drain and mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl using a slotted spoon.

  3. Finely chop the onion (40 grams), red pepper (25 grams), and green onion (20 grams). Add them to the mashed potatoes.

  4. Add black pepper (1/6 tsp), garlic powder (1/4 tsp), chili powder (1/4 tsp), salt (1/4 tsp), oats (60 grams), corn starch (3 tbsp), and one beaten egg. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to form a dough.

  5. Take a small amount of the dough and shape it into round, flat cakes with your hands.

  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Deep fry the cakes until they are golden brown and crispy.
