  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanillin
  • 125 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp bitter cocoa

  • 200 g flour

  • 3/4 cup sugar (150 g)
  • 1 tbsp butter (15 g)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup chopped roasted peanuts (100 g)

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine: 2 medium eggs, 70 g sugar, 1 tsp vanillin, Pinch of salt, 70 ml oil, 3 tbsp cocoa powder, 200 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder Mix all ingredients thoroughly until smooth.

  2. Pour the batter evenly into a 24 cm cake tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 20 minutes. Allow it to cool after baking.

  3. In a saucepan, cook together: 150 g sugar (3/4 cup), 1 tbsp butter, 200 ml milk, 100 g chopped roasted peanuts. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens slightly.

  4. Pour the cooked topping mixture evenly over the baked cake. Refrigerate for 5 minutes to set.
