Ingredients

  • 300g all-purpose flour
  • 130g durum wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 300ml warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 200ml tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 200g mozzarella, shredded
  • 150g tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, durum wheat flour, sugar, salt, and dry yeast. Mix well. Add the warm water and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes, then place it in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for at least 1 hour.

  2. After the dough has rested, knead it briefly, then transfer it to a floured surface. Divide it into 9 equal pieces (about 50g each) and roll them into small balls. Cover with a cloth and let them rest for 15 minutes.

  3. In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce with salt, oregano, and olive oil. Flatten each dough ball with your hands to form small pizza bases. Spread 1 tablespoon of the prepared sauce over each base. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella, then evenly distribute the tuna and chopped onion. Preheat the oven to 250°C (480°F) and bake the pizzas for about 15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
