Ingredients

  • 70 g rice flour
  • 30 g glutinous rice flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 g water
  • 100 g milk + 20 g milk (divided)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 20 g salted butter (or unsalted butter with 1 g salt)
  • Potato starch (for dusting)

Directions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice flour, glutinous rice flour, sugar, water, and 100 g milk. Heat in the microwave at 600W for 2 minutes.

  2. Stir in 20 g milk and the egg yolk. Heat again at 600W for 1 minute. Then, add the salted butter (or unsalted butter with salt) and mix thoroughly until smooth.

  3. Dust a bowl with potato starch. Transfer the mixture onto the starch, divide it into portions, and lightly dust the top with more potato starch.
