Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix 140 grams of milk, 13 grams of sugar, 1 egg, and 3 grams of yeast using a spatula. Add 300 grams of wheat flour and 3 grams of salt to the mixture, then combine well. Knead in 30 grams of unsalted butter until a smooth dough forms. Cover the bowl with a lid and let the dough rest for 1 hour to rise.

  2. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Take each part, knead lightly, and shape into round balls. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes.

  3. Roll out one dough ball into a rectangular sheet using a rolling pin. Spread meat floss evenly over the dough, then roll it tightly into a log. Repeat with the other dough ball.

  4. Place the rolls on a preheated baking tray and cover them with plastic wrap. Let the rolls proof for 40 minutes. Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.

  5. Preheat the oven to 175°C (347°F). Bake the rolls for 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
