Directions

1. Step

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, vanilla sugar, and 100g of sugar until well combined. Add the oil and mix again. Then, add the milk and mix well.

2. Step

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth. Pour the batter into a greased mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

3. Step

Once baked, remove the cake from the mold and let it cool. Trim the edges and cut it into square or rectangular pieces.

4. Step

In a saucepan, mix the cocoa powder and 50g of sugar. Add the milk and stir well. Place the saucepan over low heat and add the dark chocolate and butter. Stir until melted and fully combined. Remove from heat.

5. Step

Dip each cake piece into the chocolate mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Roll the coated cake pieces in desiccated coconut, covering all sides. Let them set for a few minutes before serving.
