Ingredients

  • 200g semi-firm tofu
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cooked rice
  • 1 small can of tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped Cheongyang pepper (or any spicy chili)
  • 2 garlic leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp pickled radish, finely chopped
  • Cooking oil

Directions

1. Step

Wrap the tofu in a cloth and squeeze out excess water. Place the tofu in a bowl and add cooked rice. Crack in the eggs, add salt, and lightly season with chili powder. Mix well until combined.

In a separate bowl, mix the drained tuna with chopped Cheongyang pepper, onion, and garlic leaves.

Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Spoon the tofu mixture into the pan, shaping small rounds. Make a small indentation in the center of each tofu round for the tuna filling. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 3 minutes. Remove the lid and set aside. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of one cooked tofu round. Add the rolled cabbage leaf filled with the tuna mixture. Top with mayonnaise and a spoonful of pickled radish. Place another cooked tofu round on top and press lightly. Cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese melts.
