Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine 135 grams of warm milk, 42 grams of sugar, and 6 grams of instant dry yeast. Mix well, then cover the bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  2. After 10 minutes, add 1 egg, 36 grams of melted unsalted butter, 6 grams of salt, and 300 grams of flour to the bowl. Mix everything together and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

  3. After the dough has risen, divide it into small pieces and shape each piece into a round ball. Cover the balls with plastic wrap and let them rest for 15 minutes.

  4. Flatten each ball slightly on a small piece of parchment paper. Cut out a small hole in the center to form a donut shape. Repeat this for each ball, then cover them with plastic wrap and let them rest again.

  5. Heat cooking oil in a pan to 160°C (320°F). Fry the dough balls until golden brown, then set them aside to cool.

  6. In a bowl, mix 200 grams of powdered sugar, 46 grams of melted unsalted butter, and 40 grams of warm milk. Dip each donut in this glaze to coat.
