  • 400 ml milk (2 cups)
  • 3 tbsp sugar (1/3 cup)
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 ml oil
  • Vanillin or orange zest (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast (10 g)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar or vanillin

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, orange zest (if using), dry yeast, milk, and eggs. Mix until smooth. Gradually add the oil, flour, and salt. Knead the mixture until it forms a soft, uniform dough.
