Directions
1. Boil and Mash the Potatoes
Cut the potatoes into small pieces. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl with 30g of water. Microwave for about 10 minutes (or boil them if you prefer). After cooking, mash them well.
2. Prepare the Dough
Add salt and cornstarch to the mashed potatoes and mix well to form a smooth dough.
3. Roll and Cut the Dough
Place the dough between plastic wrap and roll it out to about 1 cm thick. First, cut diagonally, then slice into long stick shapes.
4. First Frying
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the sticks until they turn light brown and remove.
5. Second Frying and Serve
Let them cool slightly. Then refry quickly over medium heat until they are crispier and more golden. Sprinkle cheese seasoning if desired and toss lightly.
