  • Water (for washing)
  • Black pepper: 1/5 tsp
  • Chili powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Salt: 1/3 tbsp
  • Corn starch: 3 tbsp
  • Cooking oil (for deep frying)

Directions

  1. Peel and grate 800 grams of potatoes, then cut them into uniform pieces.

  2. Rinse the cut potatoes thoroughly with water to remove excess starch.

  3. Mix the potatoes with 1/5 tsp of black pepper, 1/4 tsp of chili powder, 1/3 tbsp of salt, and 3 tbsp of corn starch. Spread the mixture evenly and press it firmly into a thick layer in a frying pan.

  4. Bake the potato mixture at 200°C (392°F) for 20 minutes. Once baked, cut it into 2-3 cm long fingers.

  5. Deep fry the potato fingers in hot oil for about 8 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
