Directions

Cut 600g of cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Boil water and add ½ tbsp of salt. Add the cauliflower and 1/6 tsp of salt to the boiling water. Boil for 2 minutes. Drain the cauliflower and set it aside to cool.

In a mixing bowl, combine. 70g all-purpose flour, 50g cornstarch, 2 tbsp lion powder, 1/6 tsp black pepper, 1/5 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp chili powder, 1/5 tsp onion powder, 1/3 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder Add 1 egg and 150 ml of water. Mix well to form a smooth batter.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated. Fry in the hot oil for 2–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
