Ingredients

  • 200 grams potatoes
  • 200 grams chicken breast
  • 2/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 50 grams cake flour (substitute with all-purpose flour if needed)
  • 20 grams corn starch
  • 70 grams carbonated water (plain water is also acceptable)

Directions

  1. Finely chop the potatoes and rinse them thoroughly in a bowl of water.Finely chop the chicken breast.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped potatoes and chicken. Add the salt, garlic powder, and red chili powder. Mix everything well to evenly coat the ingredients.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cake flour, corn starch, and carbonated water (or plain water). Add the seasoned chicken and potatoes to the batter. Stir until everything is well combined.

  4. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into flat balls. Place these on parchment paper to prevent sticking. Heat oil in a frying pan to 170°C (338°F). Fry the balls for 5 minutes. Increase the heat slightly to 180°C (356°F) and fry for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute until golden and crispy.
