Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix 1 cup cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of sugar with a spatula. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer to blend the mixture, slowly adding 1.3 cups of whipping cream. Whip until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Set aside.

  2. Lightly fry 1 cup of glutinous rice flour in a pan on low heat for a few minutes. Remove from heat. In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup of glutinous rice flour, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1/4 cup sugar, and 0.85 cup milk until smooth. Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and poke a few holes for ventilation. Microwave for 3-4 minutes until the dough is fully cooked. Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and mix well. Let it cool slightly, then knead until smooth. Divide the dough into 12 equal parts. Roll each part into a thin, flat circle using a rolling pin.

  3. Pipe the prepared cream filling onto the center of each dough circle. Wrap the dough around the filling and seal tightly. Place each filled doughnut onto cake paper and let rest for a while. Serve and enjoy!
