Ingredients

  • 400 g all-purpose flour
  • 125 g vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 70 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp yeast (for desserts)
  • Orange peel (grated)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Apricot jam
  • Desiccated coconut

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine: 1 egg, Pinch of salt, 2 tbsp sugar, Grated orange peel. Add the following to the mixture: 70 ml vegetable oil, 125 g vanilla yogurt, 400 g all-purpose flour, ½ tsp baking powder. Mix everything together thoroughly until it forms a smooth dough.

  2. Shape the dough into a ball and divide it into smaller portions. Use a knife (preferably a triangular knife) to cut each piece into desired shapes.

  3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the dough pieces on both sides until golden brown. Once cooked, spread apricot jam over each piece and coat them with desiccated coconut.
