  • Apples: 3–4, peeled and sliced

  • Corn Starch: 2 tbsp
  • Sour Cream: 250 g (8.8 oz)
  • Almond Flakes: Optional

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cold butter, egg, salt, sugar, and sour cream (or yogurt). Mix until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a 22 cm (8.5-inch) baking pan, evenly spreading it across the base. Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla sugar, sugar, corn starch, and sour cream until smooth and well combined.

  3. Arrange the sliced apples evenly on top of the dough in the pan. Pour the sour cream mixture over the apples. Optionally, sprinkle almond flakes on top for added texture.

  4. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the assembled tart for approximately 50 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden.
