Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine 330 grams of flour, 60 grams of sugar, 120 ml warm milk, 50 grams butter, 1 egg, 5 grams baker’s yeast, a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. First, dilute the yeast in warm milk with a little sugar, cover, and let it sit for 2 minutes.

  2. Add 1 tablespoon of powdered milk to the yeast mixture, followed by sugar, egg, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  3. Gradually add flour to the wet ingredients and knead the dough by hand until smooth. Let the dough rise in a dry place for 1 to 1.5 hours until it doubles in size.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix 80 grams of butter, 100 grams of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to create the filling. Once the dough has risen, roll it out and spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over it. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into equal-sized pieces.

  5. Grease a tray with butter and arrange the dough rolls on it. Cover and let them rise for another 50 minutes in a warm, dry place. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the rolls for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

  6. For the frosting, mix 40 grams of cream cheese, 3 tablespoons of icing sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of cold milk until smooth. Once the rolls are baked and slightly cooled, spread the frosting over them.
