Directions
-
In a mixing bowl, combine 160 ml of milk, 1 egg, 3 grams of yeast, and 38 grams of sugar. Stir with a spatula until well-mixed. Add 280 grams of wheat flour, 15 grams of cocoa powder, and 3 grams of salt. Mix thoroughly to form a dough. Cover the bowl and let it rest for 20 minutes.
-
After 20 minutes, incorporate 30 grams of unsalted butter into the dough. Knead well until smooth, then shape the dough into a round. Cover with a lid and let it rise for 30 minutes.
-
Divide the dough into 3 equal parts. Shape each part into a ball by rolling it with your hands. Cover the dough balls with plastic wrap and let them rest for 15 minutes.
-
Roll each dough ball out into a rectangular shape using a rolling pin. Then, roll each piece back into a log shape. Place all the rolls together, cover with plastic wrap, and let them rise for 1 hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Bake the rolls for 25 minutes. After baking, brush the tops with a mixture of 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon water for a glossy finish.
