- A pinch of salt
- 8 g vanilla sugar or vanillin
- 150 g caster sugar
- 125 ml oil
- 150 ml milk
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 75 g cocoa powder
- 15 g baking powder
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 ml whipping cream
- Chocolate shavings (for decoration)
- 26 cm baking pan

In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, caster sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Beat until well incorporated. Gradually add the oil and milk, mixing continuously. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, and mix until smooth and lump-free.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured 26 cm baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once baked, brush the cake with 125 ml of milk while it’s still warm to keep it moist.

In a separate bowl, combine the dark chocolate and hot whipping cream. Stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture becomes smooth and glossy. Spread the chocolate ganache evenly over the cooled cake. Decorate with chocolate shavings or "chocolate tails."
