Ingredients

  • 130 grams melted butter
  • 80 grams brown sugar
  • 80 grams white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 240 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon baking soda
  • 100 grams chocolate chips

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.

  2. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined, then fold in 100 grams of chocolate chips.

  3. Divide the dough into 50-gram portions, rolling each into a ball with your hands. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour.

  4. Preheat the oven to 175°C (347°F). Arrange the dough balls on a lined baking tray and bake for 11 minutes.

  5. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool slightly. If desired, press them gently with a spatula to flatten them. Enjoy!
