  • 280 grams flour
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 80 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 50 grams chocolate chips
  • 100 grams chocolate

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Once combined, gradually add the vegetable oil and continue to mix until fully incorporated. Next, sift in the baking powder and flour. Mix until a dough forms, adding a little more flour if necessary to achieve a soft dough consistency. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips and knead the dough gently by hand.

  2. Divide the dough into small, even portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then divide each ball into three equal parts. Place the divided dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the dough pieces for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and immediately spread melted chocolate on both sides of each piece. Once coated, refrigerate the chocolate-covered pieces for 20
    minutes to set.
