Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine: 150 g butter, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 100 g powdered sugar, 1 pinch of vanilla, 1 pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth. Add 1 egg and mix thoroughly. Gradually add 60 g cornstarch and 280-300 g flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
If necessary, add a little more flour while kneading by hand to achieve a soft dough consistency.

  2. Split the dough into two equal portions: First Portion: Add 1 tbsp of flour and mix thoroughly by hand. Second Portion: Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder and mix thoroughly by hand.

  3. Roll out the plain dough (the portion mixed with extra flour) on a sheet of parchment paper. Use a slotted spoon to create decorative marks on the surface. Use a small biscuit cutter to cut into desired shapes. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.

  4. Roll out the cocoa dough on parchment paper and place another sheet of paper on top to prevent sticking. Repeat the process of marking the dough with a slotted spoon and cutting with a biscuit cutter. Place the shaped pieces on a lined baking sheet.
    Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.

  5. Allow the biscuits to cool after baking. Spread chocolate paste on one biscuit and top with another to create a sandwich. Lightly sprinkle the assembled biscuits with powdered sugar.
