Directions

  1. Combine 150 grams of oats with 300 ml of hot milk in a bowl. Mix well and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Mash 2–3 bananas to yield approximately one cup. Add the mashed bananas to the soaked oats mixture. Mix in 2 eggs and combine thoroughly. Add 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Mix everything well until a smooth batter is formed.

  3. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined 20 cm (8-inch) baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula and sprinkle chopped almonds over the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  4. In a bowl, melt 100 grams of dark chocolate with 70 ml of milk. Mix until smooth. Once the cake has cooled slightly, spread the chocolate glaze evenly over the top.
