Ingredients

  • 300g soft tofu
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1½ tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili oil (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and chili powder, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions

1. Step

In a bowl, beat the eggs well. In a separate bowl, mix the shrimp with a pinch of salt and chili powder.

2. Step

Heat sesame oil in a pan over low heat. Add the soft tofu and lightly sear both sides. Pour the beaten eggs over the tofu, then evenly place the seasoned shrimp on top. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until the eggs are just set. Remove the lid, gently slice the tofu into sections, then cover again and cook for another 5 minutes.

3. Step

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking oil, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Stir in sesame seeds. Remove the lid from the pan and drizzle the sauce over the tofu and eggs. Sprinkle with chopped green onions, drizzle chili oil to taste, and let everything cook for another minute. Serve warm, garnished with extra sesame seeds if desired.
