  • 1 g salt
  • 150 g all-purpose flour or wheat flour
  • 15 ml unsalted butter
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 15 g bacon crumbs
  • 6 g chopped onion
  • 15 g mayonnaise
  • Mozzarella cheese (as needed)
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine 90 ml of milk, 1 g salt, and 150 g of all-purpose or wheat flour. Mix the ingredients with a spatula, then add 15 ml of unsalted butter. Knead the mixture to form a smooth dough. Cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. Boil the potatoes in a pan over medium heat until soft. Transfer the boiled potatoes to a bowl and mash them until smooth.

  3. Microwave 15 g of bacon crumbs and 6 g of chopped onion for 30 seconds (not 30 minutes). Mix the microwaved onion and bacon crumbs with the mashed potatoes. Add 15 g of mayonnaise to the mixture and combine well.

  4. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin. Spread the prepared potato mixture onto the dough. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the potato mixture, then place more mozzarella on top. Fold and seal the dough to encase the filling completely.

  5. Heat a pan over medium-low heat and add a small amount of oil. Place the flatbread in the pan, cover it with a lid, and let it steam-fry until the bottom turns golden brown. Flip the flatbread and cook until the other side is evenly browned and crispy. Serve hot and enjoy!
