  • 800 grams of potatoes
  • 3 grams of salt
  • 15 grams of corn starch
  • 1 garlic paneer sauce (pre-made or homemade)
  • 28 grams of butter
  • Minced garlic (quantity to taste)
  • 100 grams of milk
  • 5 pieces of cheese

Directions

  1. Peel and slice the 800 grams of potatoes into thin pieces. Wash them thoroughly under running water. In a pot, bring water to a boil, adding a little salt, and boil the potato slices until slightly tender.

  2. Drain the boiled potatoes and transfer them to a container. Coat the potatoes evenly with 15 grams of corn starch. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow them to set.

  3. Prepare the garlic cheese sauce. In a pan over medium heat, melt 28 grams of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in 100 grams of milk and 5 pieces of cheese, cooking until the mixture forms a smooth, liquid sauce. Set it aside to cool slightly.

  4. Heat a pan with sufficient oil for frying. Fry the potato slices until golden brown and crispy. Let them cool for a moment, then fry them a second time for an extra crunch. Remove and drain excess oil.
