Ingredients

  • Potatoes: 450 g
  • Carrots: 100 g
  • Salt: 1/3 tsp (for draining)
  • Onion: 80 g
  • Green onions: 15 g
  • Mozzarella cheese: 50 g (for mixture) + 150 g (for topping)
  • Eggs: 2
  • Chili powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper: 1/5 tsp
  • Salt: 1/4 tsp (for seasoning)
  • Cooking oil: 1 tbsp
  • All-purpose flour: 2 tbsp
  • Dried green onions (optional garnish)

Directions

  1. Grind 450 g potatoes and 100 g carrots. Season with 1/3 tsp salt and let sit for a while.

  2. Dice 80 g onion and chop 15 g green onions.

  3. Drain the water from the salted potatoes and carrots mixture thoroughly.

  4. In a bowl, combine the drained potatoes and carrots with. Chopped onions, Chopped green onions, 50 g mozzarella cheese, 2 eggs, 1/4 tsp chili powder, 1/5 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp cooking oil, 2 tbsp all-purpose flour. Mix well to form a uniform mixture.

  5. Spread the mixture evenly into an oven pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (374°F) for 25 minutes.

  6. Lower the pan from the oven, spread 150 g mozzarella cheese evenly on top. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes at the same temperature.

  7. Sprinkle with dried green onions for garnish (optional). Slice and serve warm.
