Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine 270-280 grams of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 100 grams of butter. Mix by hand until crumbly.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together 1 egg, 100 grams of yogurt (or sour cream), 2 tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix with your hands to form a soft dough. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for a while.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix 250 grams of cottage cheese with 2 tablespoons of sugar to create the filling.

  4. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts. Roll each portion into a small ball, then flatten and roll it out. Make a cut on one side of the rolled-out dough (approximately halfway through). Place 1 teaspoon of the cottage cheese filling on the uncut side, then carefully wrap and seal the dough around the filling.

  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Place the prepared pieces on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
