Directions
-
Cut 400 g of potatoes into small pieces. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl with a little water and microwave for 7 minutes. Remove from the microwave, add ½ tsp salt and chilli powder, and mix well. The potato filling is ready.
-
Grate cheddar cheese into a bowl. Spread the cheese thinly on a surface, smoothing out any clumps by hand. Preheat your air fryer in advance.
-
Air fry the cheese at 180°C for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, fill any gaps with more cheddar cheese and air fry again for 1 minute 30 seconds at 180°C.
-
Secure the edges with parchment paper to prevent the cheese from flying around. This step is recommended for better results.
-
Allow the air fryer to cool. Cut the cheese layer in half. Top one half with the prepared potato filling, then place the other half on top to form a sandwich.
