  • 400 g potatoes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Chilli powder (to taste)
  • Cheddar cheese (as needed)

Directions

  1. Cut 400 g of potatoes into small pieces. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl with a little water and microwave for 7 minutes. Remove from the microwave, add ½ tsp salt and chilli powder, and mix well. The potato filling is ready.

  2. Grate cheddar cheese into a bowl. Spread the cheese thinly on a surface, smoothing out any clumps by hand. Preheat your air fryer in advance.

  3. Air fry the cheese at 180°C for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, fill any gaps with more cheddar cheese and air fry again for 1 minute 30 seconds at 180°C.

  4. Secure the edges with parchment paper to prevent the cheese from flying around. This step is recommended for better results.

  5. Allow the air fryer to cool. Cut the cheese layer in half. Top one half with the prepared potato filling, then place the other half on top to form a sandwich.
