In a pan, combine 50 grams of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of water. Heat the mixture until it caramelizes and turns red. Once the desired color is achieved, carefully add 1 tablespoon of hot water and mix well. Immediately pour the caramel into a small bowl, tilting it to coat the entire interior surface evenly. Set aside.

In another pan, heat 450 grams of milk with 10 grams of granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until it reaches approximately 60°C. Stir well and set aside. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 5 whole eggs and 50 grams of granulated sugar until combined. Gradually add the warmed milk mixture into the eggs while stirring continuously to prevent curdling. Strain the mixture if needed for a smoother consistency. Pour the mixture into the caramel-coated bowl.
