Ingredients

  • Cabbage
  • Cooked rice
  • Canned tuna
  • Mayonnaise
  • Green pepper
  • Washed kimchi
  • Samjang (Korean soybean paste)

Directions

  1. Cut the cabbage into quarters and separate the leaves. Further cut each leaf into quarters. Wash the cabbage pieces thoroughly with water and place them in a bowl. Microwave the cabbage for 1-2 minutes, then transfer to another bowl to cool.

  2. Finely chop the green pepper. Drain the canned tuna and place it in a bowl. Add the chopped green pepper and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, mixing well. Add an additional tablespoon of mayonnaise and mix thoroughly to create a creamy tuna filling.

  3. Take a prepared cabbage leaf and place it flat. Add a small portion of rice to the center of the leaf. Spread a small amount of samjang over the rice. Top with the tuna mixture, a strip of chicken, and a piece of washed kimchi. Roll the cabbage leaf tightly to secure the filling.
