Directions
1. Step
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 egg, 25 grams of sugar, 15 grams of milk, and 3 grams of yeast. Stir together using a spatula until well mixed. Add 300 grams of bread flour (or wheat flour) and 3 grams of salt. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes, then incorporate 30 grams of unsalted butter. Once the butter is fully absorbed, cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow it to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
2. Step
After the dough has risen, divide it into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a smooth ball. Arrange the dough balls closely together on a tray, cover with plastic wrap, and let them rest for 15 minutes.
3. Step
Once rested, shape the dough balls into your desired design (refer to the video for guidance). Place the shaped dough on a tray, cover again with plastic wrap, and let it rise for an additional 40 minutes. After rising, brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
4. Step
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the dough for 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
