Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 4 eggs, 200 g sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until the sugar dissolves. Add 200 ml milk and 200 ml vegetable oil to the mixture, stirring until well combined. Gradually sift in 380-400 g flour and 15 g baking powder, mixing until a smooth batter forms.

  2. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease a 22x32 cm baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine 400 g curd cheese (or yogurt), 100 g sugar, and 2 eggs. Mix until smooth. Add 2-3 tablespoons of corn starch and mix again until fully incorporated. Spoon the cheese mixture evenly over the batter in dollops. Add berries on top, spreading them evenly over the surface.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
