In a bowl, combine 220 g of flour, 175 g of softened butter, 90 g of almond powder, 120 g of sugar, 3 g of baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, and 1 egg. Mix until a smooth dough forms. Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll each piece out evenly. Place the dough in the refrigerator to chill.

In another bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 90 g of sugar. Add 45 g of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 500 ml of milk. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into two parts. Spread the prepared cream filling over one part of the dough, then place the other part on top. Seal the edges well. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 40 minutes. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
