  • 4 tablespoons water
  • A splash of lemon juice
  • 4 bananas (peeled and cut into pieces)
  • 25 g butter
  • 930 ml milk
  • 40 g gelatin
  • 95 ml water

Directions

  1. In a pan, combine 150 g of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water. Add a splash of lemon juice and heat until the mixture thickens into caramel. Place the peeled bananas in a bowl and cut them into pieces. In a frying pan, melt 25 g of butter, then add the banana pieces and 95 g of sugar. Cook over medium heat until the mixture turns a light golden color. Transfer the caramelized bananas into a separate bowl.

  2. Add 930 ml of milk to the caramelized banana mixture and stir well. In a separate bowl, combine 40 g of gelatin with 95 ml of water, letting it sit for a few minutes. Then, melt the gelatin mixture in the microwave. Add the melted gelatin into the milk and banana mixture, stirring until evenly combined.

  3. Pour the mixture into a dish or molds and refrigerate for 5 hours until set.
