- Potatoes: 450g
- Water: As needed
- Black pepper: 1/6 tsp
- Chili powder: 1/6 tsp
- Salt: 1/4 tsp
- Cooking oil: 2 tbsp
- Corn starch: 100g
- Butter (hot): As needed

Peel and cut 450g of potatoes into small pieces. Boil the potatoes in water for 13 minutes or until soft. Mash the boiled potatoes into a smooth consistency.

In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with: 1/6 tsp black pepper 1/6 tsp, chili powder 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp cooking oil. Add 100g of corn starch and mix it with hot butter to form a soft dough.

Place the potato dough between two sheets of a 24×24 cm polythene bag. Flatten the dough evenly using a rolling pin. Remove the top layer of polythene and cut the dough into long sticks, resembling French fries.

Arrange the potato sticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 230°C (446°F) for 40 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
