Directions
-
Prepare the Apple Filling In a bowl, combine: Finely chopped apples (500 g) Butter (1 tablespoon) Sugar (2 tablespoons) Cinnamon (to taste) Cornstarch (1 tablespoon) Mix well, then cook the mixture over medium heat until the apples are soft. Set aside to cool.
-

If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour, kneading gently with your hands. -
Assemble and Bake Divide the dough into 10 equal parts and roll them into small balls. Cover the balls with plastic wrap to prevent drying. Roll each ball into a small circle and place a spoonful of the cooked apple filling in the center. Add a pinch of sugar, butter, and cinnamon on top of the filling. Fold the edges over the filling and seal them to form a pouch. Place the filled pouches seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with milk for a golden finish.
-
Bake Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).Bake the pouches for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
-
Add Final Touches Remove the baked pouches from the oven. While still warm, spread a little butter over each. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon to taste.
