In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 egg, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons corn starch, and a few drops of lemon juice or zest. Gradually stir in 400 ml milk and mix well. Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens into a creamy consistency.
